Bird's - Durango

If you're in the mood for fried chicken, I highly recommend Birds for a delicious, homestyle experience. The prices are reasonable, and there's a great variety of options to enjoy your chicken. We tried several different chicken sandwiches, and everything was fantastic. We also ordered a side of wings, which had a nice mix of drums and flats, and the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The vanilla cream soda was exceptional! If you're looking for a place that's a step above KFC, this is definitely the spot to check out.

This is an excellent spot for a meal. The prices are reasonable, and the chicken is fantastic. You can't go wrong by stopping in to enjoy a drumstick that's as big as your face for just $1.50!

Fast, convenient, and tasty! I really enjoyed the banh mi and the Vietnamese-style curly fries. This spot is ideal for a quick sandwich break, whether you're on a road trip or coming back from skiing.

We have a condo in Purgatory and we always stop for dinner at Bird's on the way there. It's affordable. I love the White Chicken chili and it's such a huge bowl I often have leftovers. For like $4.00! My kids always order wings. The Vietnamese Street Fries are out of this world. Great bar. Ice cream in the parking lot in the summer. Nice patio. Dog friendly outdoor eating. I cannot for the life of me figure out why anyone would review it poorly. Sometimes the order takes a while but it's not fast food folks. It's fresh to order. And the Rice Kristy treat that's $2.00 can be share with six people!

Good Mac and cheese, good chicken, only disappointment is they don't sell the cheese curds by themselves!!! One night my son got them to sell him curds by themselves and they were the BEST curds ever! That bowel mixture is a culinary DISASTER!!!Friendly service. So that's why I'm only giving them 3 stars
