Contribuisci feedbackThe experience was disappointing. They were out of condiments like relish and sauerkraut, and they didn’t have bratwurst available. Additionally, the fry machine and refrigerator were broken.
The owner personally delivered my meal, which was perfectly prepared, and the fries were cooked to perfection—not those skimpy, thin fries, either! The hot dog was served on a poppy seed bun with all the traditional toppings. I enjoyed it so much that I returned every other day during my two-week stay. While we were there, Downtown Durango hosted a car show. While my sister and I were checking out the cars, the owner of Durango Dawg House recognized me and greeted me, which I thought was such a kind gesture. I will always remember the experience at Durango Dawg House. Sadly, after returning home, my sister suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. Now, I'm trying to find a way to return to Durango.
The restaurant has a charming old diner vibe, with excellent food and service! The "Cure" dish is fantastic!
I absolutely adore this place! I've been there twice during my visit to Durango, and it has become my go-to spot for breakfast comfort food. It's a charming little diner with quick and friendly service, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Durango. I will definitely return!
I love the kitschy atmosphere Durango Diner offers. There is usually a wait because they lack a lot of seating, but it is worth it. You will definitely be over caffeinated before you leave your meal, as the servers always top off your coffee. It is my diner of choice in
