Order from here quite a bit during the day for lunch while I'm working. The whole staff usually gets something! It's usually really good tasting...good portions. I decided to order it for my family in the evening and it was terrible. Didn't taste the same...portions were about half of what we should have gotten ?. Maybe they were short staffed maybe it was super busy maybe the cook at night didn't have enough training or product but I was really sad! We spent closed to a hundred bucks for the fam! I called to let them know we were really disappointed and still very hungry lol. The person who answered did nothing but basically call me a liar! ? I don't got time to lie about food lol. Ive worked in restaurants for too long to try and pull some scam on a local restaurant lol. I wasn't even looking for them to do anything to make it up to us just wanted to give them a heads-up about the quality of the food this evening. Instead I was called a liar so I'm leaving this review to let others know! Won't be ordering there anymore...makes me sad!
Bland and dry. My husband could only eat half of his carnitas burrito- said it was like pork rinds, no sauce to help. My tamale was flavorless.
Street tacos are unbelievable! Different and authentic. All were good; but, the chorizo was magnificent. Things were so good, we came back for lunch the next day--literally waiting at the front door for them to open!
Our first night in Durango. Looked like a good place. Enjoyed the salsa and chips. Good margarita. Food not so much. I got the beef burrito. The meat was very chewy. Another in our party got a beef taco salad. Had to hunt for what little beef there was. I brought it to the attention of the server and we were told to look toward the bottom of the dish (not really there either). Dined elsewhere the rest of our stay in town.
