San Marcos Mexican - Durango

Situated next to the Best Western, this restaurant was a wonderful stop after a long day on the Harley. The staff, both the waitress and waiter, were exceptionally friendly, and our food arrived at the table promptly. It was quite busy on Friday night, which is always a good sign. However, I was extremely disappointed when I tried to return on Sunday only to find it closed, even though their website listed them as open.

The food was absolutely delicious! This was likely the best Mexican meal we had during our 10-day trip, and we enjoyed Mexican cuisine almost every day! The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was a bit slow at the start of our meal. Otherwise, it would definitely be a 5-star experience!

The food and customer service were excellent. We ordered the carnitas street tacos and were initially unsure about dining here. However, after reading the reviews and noticing its convenient location next to our hotel, my husband and I decided to give it a shot. We're so glad we did! We'll definitely come back again.

This restaurant is located right next to the hotel we were staying at and we thought that it would be nice to go there. not a huge selection of craft or different beers but a number of different Mexican beers which is to be expected I suppose from a Spanish restaurant. Two full pages of Spanish meals, one page of burgers. I was very happy to have a spinach and mushroom and cheese quesadilla with rice and refried beans and a plate of tortilla chips and salsa was brought to the table and it was wonderful. my dining companion was not quite as internationally adventuresome and stuck with a burger and fries what she said were fine. Oh no we thought it was great and our waiter was quick and very friendly

Went here for a show they have a stage, and the acoustics are fantastic. They kinda screwed up my order there though, charging me $14 for 2 tacos and some rice that I didn't order when they offer a 3 taco meal for like $7. :
