Pretty much the same idea as a Rudy's but with differences.<br/ <br/ Same order meats by weight (Rudy's is by the ounce, these guys are by the quarter pound).<br/ <br/ These guys have cheezy potatoes and pinto beans that are amazing. They also have Texas Tacos that are chopped brisket, cheezy potatoes, onions, and jalapenos jammed into a soft flour tortilla.<br/ <br/ They have free condimrnts including pickles, onions, jalapenos, chipotle mayo, cherry-chipotle salsa, orange-jalapeno mustard, cranbrrry-habanero salsa, pepper sauce, and what I think is an apricot based bbq sauce.<br/ <br/ We were very plrased with the food, atmosphere, and service.<br/ Winter hours are until 2000 hours. Summer is until 2100. hours.

Can you tell I have some free time this evening? I'm busy writing a few catch-up posts. I'm wrapping up the night with a series of posts about the meals we enjoyed while on the Girl Scout High Adventure Team HAT Durango Adventure last summer. On Monday, July 20th, the Scouts went whitewater rafting. Since I wasn’t keen on that activity, Steve and I took care of some errands for the group, and after all that effort, we definitely needed to refuel with some BBQ.
Bottom Line: The grill is mediocre, but the restaurant boasts a lovely view of the Animas River, and there's a mini golf course in the back. We visited Serious...
