With a party of 8 in this restaurant for lunch to see how it was now under new management. Unfortunately, we were the only ones who thought it was a beautiful Sunday in August. No extensive menu, but sufficient. The environment...and the staff is really nice, the food was excellent, but the service left much to wish. We all had ordered apart from a chip. The ones who have salads have been on fish pears a while ago. The salads were ordered with chips, but the chips did not arrive until the salads were almost ready. Something disappointing as it surprised us how to handle them when they are full! But we will go back because it was very pleasant. Portions are HUGE, so if you go, make sure you are hungry! The new manager explains they didn't have officially opened, but so hopefully all these little Niggly bits will be ironed out by then. Don't let my review as we enjoyed it very much and be a Sunday, none of us was in a hurry to come home. The wine list is very extensive and a lot of work was compiled with a little history on the wines. Well done and good luck for you all at the official opening. Thank you.
Had a nice lunch yesterday afternoon the place has transformed the new management are a very warm friendly couple of the new French cook is a beautiful chap would highly recommend
Spent a night at this site, pitches lovely and spacious. Friendly warm welcome, only negative shower and toilet block very dated. Went to the restaurant on the evening for a meal. One of the best meals we have had in France followed by the most...amazing profiteroles. Would highly recommend a visit.
We all enjoyed our evening, attentive staff and an excellent new cook. Craving for fish and chips, so returned tonight. Wish them all successes
