Pandemic hours are Wednesday- Sunday 4-8. I like the Milepost. It's old and cozy and dependable. You're not likely to find anything new and creative on the menu, but you can depend on their chowder, fried foods, burgers, chicken Marsala. I also like their steak and lamb. Looking forward to when they open for lunch again. I miss their bar.
I love this place. cozy, old-fashioned comfort with feel good menu. many reminders for years visit this place and I love it even more as I have aged.
Tuesdays are 4-8. I like the milepost. it is old and cozy and reliable. you will not likely find something new and creative on that.
Overpriced takeout meal: Shrimp scampi for $25 served with only 4 pieces of shrimp (tail still on) and a tiny side of steamed broccoli. Pasta was nothing special at all. They also left the container of parmesan cheese in the same container as the pasta, which proceeded to melt into one solid clump of cheese. at least the pasta was hot though..?
