11/16 Edit went back because saw owner was there and cooking. A million times better. Makes a big difference in quality and customer service. As long as she 's there and cooking, I 'll be back. Pork fried rice was delicious and worth the cost. Definitely stop by since ojuma is cooking! Edit ordered online and when I got there to pick it up, one of the women who work there gave me a mad/frustrated stare, lean on counter with two hands, head hanging, and hard sigh/deep breath then proceeded to tell me that they can 't give me what I ordered. Asked me, did I order it online? Yes, clearly. Did I pay extra? No, for what? Well, we have to charge extra, you can 't get two meats....proceeds to tell me how I can 't get what I ordered, and I should call it in so they can charge me more. Ok or, you could fix your website? Said none of what was in my head, but agreed and apologized and took a bowl that was already made that had one meat. Anyway, I didn 't expect 'extra ', just two meats for my one bowl like the website said was possible it gave me options, I picked them and pre paid. Again, fix your ordering system....Anyway, don 't plan on going back. Food is alright, you don 't really get much any for what you pay, and that woman just rubbed me the wrong way she was trying to be 'friendly ', but tone, body language, eyes all said otherwise it felt unpleasant. I digress. Food is decent. Prices have gone up and menu changed a bit (used to go for their kimchi pork fried rice, but no longer on menu), so don 't frequent as much. If you work in bldg or are there for some sort of appt, consider stopping by. The ladies working there are friendly.
First time here, I tried the yakisoba noodles and eggs rolls. The noodles were way to salty and veggies were soggy from the sauce. The eggs rolls were also drenched in grease. The staff was very friendly but unfortunately the food was not very good.
The lady taking orders just kept chatting with someone she knew and took forever to take my order. I ordered fried rice and didn't realize it would be old rice that was just microwaved in the back and then tossed in so much soy sauce that even though I tried drowning it in hot sauce, it was so greasy and salty that it was inedible and smelled like old cheese. I paid $12 after taxes for fried rice I could've gotten delivered from a good restaurant. Not pleased for sure.
Sadly not the same as when Steve owned and operated. Whatever you do, do not order chicken strips lol. Trust me
