Brought my guy for first date and this was an absolute winner. The restaurant was so cute and romantic. The staff were very kind and attentive, paying attention to our requests and acting accordingly. The food was also delicious. Only thing that bothered us was the fact that we only received one bread as the starter! lol Overall this place was such a treat.
Food was absolutely delicious. We took out of town guests and they were very complimentary of the food and they are world travelers! Just as a note, if you sit out on the patio by the street, the cars can get quite noisy. We did fine but just as a cautionary note for people with hearing issues or want a quieter experience.
Luna is a really charming place on South Hill. The service is excellent; they even have a sommelier. I had the Because Why Not $40 martini, which comes with fancy snacks, and it was pretty good, except for the potatoes. I had the sea bass entree, which was wonderfully prepared with fresh vegetables, but it was sort of cold when it arrived. The desserts were delicious. You can tell they use high quality ingredients in their kitchen. Thanks for a lovely evening Luna.
Establishment is wonderful however it took 45 mins to get a kale salad app and another hour and half to get my lackluster burger. For the price of the $23 Luna burger it’s an embarrassment to the industry to serve something that is better served and prepared at Five guys. Extremely disappointed with the time of my overall visit. I wouldn’t recommend this to a table of 5 as you won’t get fed in adequate time nor for celebrations as you’ll get cold bread and frozen butter.Edit upon owner’s reply:Great example of why the restaurant received the score it got, more worried about the money than having a proper service staff that creates return customers. Drop the gimmick L pressed in the bun and get back to the basic. What a look for this owner and establishment. Sad.
