Big Water Grille - e Village

We had dinner here last night. Both were good meals but not exceptional. The Korean Fried Califlower appetizer was one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! A nice place to eat with a great view.

BWG has been our favorite ‘special' restaurant for years... in fact somewhere along the reservation Open Table notified me that I made my first reservation at BWG 15 years ago.... actually we've been going there a lot longer than that... maybe before using Open Table! That says it all

Everything was perfect from start to finish and we had a magical evening. We had the scallops and halibut which our lovely server paired a beautiful wine with. Also, very much enjoyed the special salad with goat cheese and figs.

Hostess seamed to be confused. Service was good. Food was not hot and overcooked. The Raspberry sauce on the halibut was not something a trained chef would use, it was not a finished sauce.

One of our favorite waterfront restaurants in Tahoe . took friends first timers in Tahoe. Had to wait 20 min for an outside table (had reservation), Service was great Diana from Romania. Started coconut shrimp outstanding as usual. Halibut main was a bit dry, filet was excellent. Overall very good. Fish could have been better.
