Oscar's Pitshanger Lane - Ealing

This is a pleasant, well-run cafe on the main street in Pitshanger. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was pleased to see how a lady in a wheelchair was carefully accommodated without any fuss. Nice coffee and cakes. To be recommended.

Oscar has good (and pricey) coffee but the owner is not showing a good manner unfortunately. The customer are not well cared. Winters are cold inside the coffee shop. In general, I prefer to go to a place where the barista is polite.

I love the bacon, eggs, and beans at this place and I can't wait to go eat there before work. The service was good as well.

The restaurant was terrible and too expensive. We went there a few days ago and had a horrible experience. The black coffee looked more like tea, it was a yellowish color instead of black. The flat white was just cold, probably made in advance and served in beakers. We will not be returning to this place, as there are much better coffee shops on the same street.

Service was offhand, and, when I went to pay for my coffee, I was charged for a large coffee, even though I had never been offered the choice (unlike McDonald 's! . Go to Cinnamon (over the road instead for more pleasant staff and transparent pricing.
