Contribuisci feedbackMy boyfriend and I, who are regulars at this restaurant, always opt for chicken fingers instead of waiting for a table. We prefer ordering wings when dining in. The food is consistently well-prepared and served promptly. The staff is always friendly as well.
Made a stop on a drive from MN to ME just because I wanted to try beef on weck and the Bar Bill award winning wings (i read all local restaurant publications/reviews trying to find the best wing place in Buffalo) and I was not disappointed! best flavored wings i've ever eaten and the beef on weck was great too.
This is a very special Buffalo/WNY restaurant in the sense that it is known not only for having some of the best wings in the region but also for having one of the best beef on wecks in the region as well. Let me tell you that its pretty darn difficult to find a place that does both WNY culinary specialties just right but this place has it down. For instance my favorite wing joint in the area, Gabriel 's Gate (see review), doesn 't even serve beef on weck while some of the more well known beef on weck places in the area like Charlie the Butcher and Schwabl 's don 't do wings. So, with that said when you come here you 're ordering yourself a beef on weck and a ton of whatever flavor(s) of wings fit your taste. Fun fact: my Godmother 's cousins were the original owners of this place way back in the day. Their names were Barb and Bill Corzelius and the combination of their first names is where the name Bar Bill comes from. I just had to throw that little tidbit in their to make all of the other Buffalo foodies jealous that I have a connection to the origins of one of the best wing and beef on weck restaurants to ever grace the business. The service is always really slow here and normally I would be inclined to take a star off for that but the food here is just so good that they are one of the few restaurants to get a free pass on their slow service. Definitely don 't show up and expect to be out in a hurry. The ambiance is of a small town old school corner pub where everybody knows your name. This place is legendary and the food is just so so so GOOD. I can 't complain about them not being centrally located because lets face it some of the best restaurants are located in the middle of nowhere however, they did recently open up a second location in Clarence which has since taken off in popularity. Raise your glass: Long live the Bar Bill!
Timely prepared, little pricy but you get good portions so it balances it out. Best chicken fingers I have ever had, I got the cajun honey butter bbq flavor.
We are in Buffalo a few times a year. The wings are the best here as is the Beef on Weck. Great lively atmosphere and very cozy!
