Mango Valley delivered us a variety of Chinese and Indian dishes to very good value. Very pleasant evening.
We went on Thursday evening as a group of 4. We sat quickly by a waiter and was immediately asked if we want drinks and appetizers. We ordered drinks and asked for a few minutes to watch the menu. When the drinks came back, another waitress asked us again whether we want appetizers, then she tried to explain in very broken English a special starter that they do and without really understanding what we agreed to him. It came and the food was okay, but on the plus it was very hot. There was a lot to choose on the menu and a good selection of vegetarian dishes that was beautiful. We then ordered our main thing and the waiter was not sure that the dishes held so to consult the menu. The food came fast and it was hot, but pretty bland. The fried chicken one of our party was ordered was swimming in oil and was not very appetite. The waiter came back and checked us at least 4 times what we thought was unnecessary. The main thing we were worried about was the fact that she was only 1 other table of two in the whole restaurant! Overall, it was a good experience, but I would probably not recommend it to a friend. At £11.95 it was a good value for money because you have a lot to choose and it is all you can eat, but the dishes are very bland. Also the waiters/witresses were friendly, but the broken English was slightly awkward, so I might recommend even more training. I understand it's better if they were up in the evening and entertaining, but it was as empty as we were there was no atmosphere at all. Overall, it was a ok experience, but I don't think I'd come back.
My family and I have visited Mango Valley multiple times. The owner of the restaurant is always very polite and charming towards our 3-year-old. The food options are amazing, with both Indian and Chinese cuisine available. The dessert bar is also impressive, offering cakes, ice cream, jello, and fruits. I highly recommend Mango Valley for a family meal. We will definitely be returning!
We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu featuring both Indian and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant was always well-stocked, including a variety of desserts. The menu catered to children with options like chicken nuggets and chips. Every dish we tried was delicious and we look forward to returning to try the items we didn't have room for.
