Upon arrival, I was in urgent need of a restroom and went into the cafe to ask for directions. The lady working there informed me that I could only use the toilet if I made a purchase. Despite the fact that the cafe was empty, she was not accommodating and did not seem pleased to have a potential customer walk in. This experience was off-putting, so we decided to leave without making a purchase.
"The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food we received. We stopped in while passing through and were pleased to find plenty of parking available."
I met up with friends at this restaurant for a fantastic "All Day Breakfast." The food was hot and delicious, and everything on the plate could be bought at the farm shop along with fresh meat and produce. I couldn't resist purchasing a large punnet of East Hill Pride strawberries, which were incredibly tasty. The owners were friendly and lovely, and I would definitely recommend this place!
Met with friends today and had a fantastic breakfast. We all very much enjoyed both food and drinks. Having read some of the other negative reviews I can only assume they are referring to a different establishment. We had traditional good food. Excellent.
Awful place. Hygiene is non existant. Dirty cafe and shop and dead flies on the window sills. Tea too weak and coffee disgusting. Has such potential, shame it is not utilised.
