Made a telephone booking and even the call was friendly and funny, Richard has a great sense of humour.Arrived on the December. A beautiful, historic building greets you. We went in via reception. Lovely, warm and very clean. We went to the bar area and Richard welcomed us immediately. He’s an excellent host, made us feel very welcome. We ordered drinks and sat in the cosy bar area. Richard helped us with the menu. We chose a Thai meal and he explained to us how the meal can be tailor made to suit your taste. If you like a quite a spicy version, you can have it. The same if you prefer a milder taste. I opted for a mild Chicken Thai curry. My husband opted for chicken and pork (made specially) Thai curry. We chose Dim Sum as a starter. We didn’t have to wait too long before we were taken through the restaurant. As soon as you walk in you are surrounded by the most amazing aromas…no kidding. You have to experience that alone. We sat down. The room is lovely. A huge old fireplace and beams on the ceiling..beautiful. Again, very, very clean. The starter was brought out to us. WOW! THE BEST dim sum I have EVER had in my life..honestly. The flavours were so good. Richard can’t be more accommodating and asked how the dim sum was. I told him it’s the best I’ve ever had. Then came out the main. The smell alone had my mouth watering. We were both happy with the spice we chose. There was plenty of food too. Nothing was too much trouble. Even the chef (Richard’s lovely wife) came out to greet us. How nice is that.I thought I’d give this place a try as we have passed by so many times. I’m so glad we did and we will definitely be going back. We’ve decided to go through the whole menu.I’m not sure if they do deserts as I was too full to be able to contemplate one. Lovely, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who made our evening so special.
My wife I visited the restaurant last weekend and had a fantastic evening the atmosphere, food and service were faultless. The food was incredible: my wife had the spring rolls followed by sweet sour chicken, while I had the Thai not-fishcakes (they were chicken) followed by Yang Neua (grilled beef with a VERY spicy dipping sauce). The portions were very generous, so we shared a dessert. Similar satisfied noises came from the diners at all the other tables, so it wasn't just us.The proprietors are very passionate about their food and that really came across. It was also great to discover that the chicken is free range. This was our first visit to Home Farm, but I am sure it won't be our last.

My wife, whom I visited last weekend in the restaurant and had a fantastic evening, was the atmosphere, the eating and the service error-free. the food was incredible: my wife had the early rolls followed by sweet acidic chicken, while I had the Thai non-fish cake (they...werehemn) followed by yang neua (drilled bark with a very spicy diving sauce.) the portions were very generous so that we shared one dessert. similar satisfied noises came from the diners at all other tables, so it was not just us. the owners are very passionate about their eating and that really came by. it was also great to discover that the huhn is free wide. that was our first visit to the home farm, but I'm sure it won't be our last.
