My family and I have enjoyed breakfast at this cafe on multiple occasions. The staff is friendly, and the owners work tirelessly, keeping long hours. The bacon sandwiches are tasty, with high quality bacon, a variety of added ingredients, and fresh bread from a local bakery. They also serve a generous pot of tea in charming china mugs. We can't wait to return next season! Additionally, the cafe offers a nice assortment of sandwiches and cakes. The nearby shop is well-stocked too.
The cafe was excellent! They served great coffee and freshly made, delicious food, including amazing homemade ice cream. The freshly made pizzas were also fantastic. This cafe is a wonderful addition to any camping trip. The shop on site was the best stocked we have ever seen, with very reasonable prices on most items. The prices were even marked from the wholesalers. Overall, the site was really fantastic.
There are not that many caravan sites that have a shop/ cafe on site as well as a 9 hole golf course. Choice of food is great and we tried the pizzas, they even offer gluten free pizza. Lovely staff as well, great to have a facility like this on your doorstep.
We were staying at the nearby campsite so Oak Mead provided a really useful resource. The shop is small but well stocked with everything you may have forgotten to pack or needed to top up for a self catering holiday. The cafe provides a limited but tasty breakfast and lunch menu. Staff were lovely.
