Only issues were tomatoes were very acidic almost like they were on the turn and the waitresses forgot the extra hash brown for my mum. No sauces weren't offered or salt pepper we had to ask. When when we asked for another pot of boiling water it was like warm . Lovely produce though and nice music being played even outside so it was a nice atmosphere. Overall very good food though
Outstanding food, excellent presentation. Such a friendly, warming cafe. Definitely do the best milkshakes
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely return and are planning to stop by again on our way back from Devon.
I recently found out that I have Coeliac Disease, which means that gluten is harmful to my digestive system. This was my first time ordering gluten-free food at a restaurant and I am happy to report that Zest did a great job. My wife and I both enjoyed a delicious bacon and Brie toasted sandwich with a side of salad and gluten-free crisps. The portion size was generous and the food was tasty. Well done, Zest!
My visit to this café in early July was excellent. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and our order was taken quickly by a young waitress. The coffee was delicious and the homemade food was tasty. However, when we returned last week, we were disappointed. It took a while for our order to be taken and the waitress seemed unfamiliar with using the coffee machine, resulting in weak cappuccinos. The service was not as friendly, and the food was bland, with the mash tasting like it came from a box. It seems that there has been staff turnover and inadequate training for new members, which is unfortunate as we had hoped to make this café a regular stop in Honiton.
