We have never turned back since and can't believe what we had been missing out on! The food is cooked fresh every time and they always cater to our taste preferences. I would highly recommend any of the curries with the option of 'meat', which is their incredibly tender 6-month-old lamb. They also offer the option of regular lamb. Every time we pick up our order, the place is clean and tidy, even in the kitchen, which is important to us. The service is amazing and very helpful, especially for those who want to try something different but are hesitant to take the risk. They will make your dish exactly how you like it. You never feel unwell the next day after eating as the ingredients are so fresh. I highly recommend this place to anyone who thinks they already have the best curry house.
My family and I went out for a short weekend break in Wimborne and decided to dine at Indian Nights. This restaurant has been a regular spot for our family and friends for the past 20 years and I highly recommend it. The staff here have over 20 years of experience cooking authentic home-style curry dishes. They were very friendly and accommodating - even preparing a dish for my daughter that wasn't on the menu. As someone who has been traveling to Asian countries and enjoying delicious food for over 50 years, I can confidently say that Indian Nights offers the true taste of Asian cuisine. If you are a true curry lover, this is the place to be.
My husband and I were on a weekend getaway and stumbled upon a charming Indian restaurant. The ambiance was delightful and they had a wide variety of Indian dishes to choose from. We both decided to try the chef's special. I ordered the Chicken Jalfrezi and my husband had the Chicken Tikka Madras with rice and Bombay Allo, paired with garlic naan. The flavors of the Indian curry were vibrant and the meal was a great value for the price. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. - Nicky and Jeff.
Not a take away for the connoisseur of Indian cuisine. The reception/waiting area could really do with a little modernisation, though the staff were friendly enough and what does that really matter if the food is good? However, it was not. At a guess, I would say that the potatoes in the Vindaloo were par boiled left overs from the night before. Though the chicken was good quality meat, it was not marinated or prepared in any way and furthermore, undercooked. The sauce, I’m guessing again, came straight out of a catering tin. No evidence of whole spices being used or any efforts made to at least authenticate a curry cooked from fresh ingredients. Not even fresh Coriander to garnish. It was as if everything was thrown into some sauce and just left to simmer for ten minutes or so. I did enjoy the fragrant pilau rice, but that’s not enough to encourage my return.
Stayed in nearby campsite and ordered a takeaway for 8. We were called when the delivery was 5 minutes away. Food arrived hot and was really tasty. Had a variety of dishes and all were good. Loved the fact you could buy small portions for a cheaper price. A small portion and half a portion of rice was plenty for me. Excellent food and service, would definitely recommend.
