Seafoods Fish And Chip Shop

The fish at this restaurant is excellent - light batter, not greasy, and served with delicious real chips. The van is easy to access and orders are quickly taken for convenient takeaway. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the food makes it well worth it!

Probably the worst dried up rubbery chewy reheated overcooked fish and chips I have ever eaten. Two regular cod and chips £21.40. This meal didn’t look appetizing and tasted as bad as it looked. Definitely won’t be going back. Premium price, disgusting quality. I reckon the food must have been reheated several times over to create such a poor quality overcooked product. With such a poor food quality I couldn’t honestly recommend this chip shop to anybody.

I have previously been very pleased with the food and service at this restaurant, despite the slow service. The quality of the food always made up for the wait. I have not left a positive review before, but I have called on two occasions to express how delicious the food was. However, tonight was a different experience. We placed our order over the phone at 6:45, hoping to reduce the wait time, and we were told to pick it up at 7:15. We arrived at 7:10 to pay for our order. At 7:20, I overheard the chef saying he had not started cooking the chicken burger in our order. I realized then that there would be a longer wait, but I understood that they were busy. They also almost forgot an item from our order, but they included it when I reminded them. When we got home, the fish was cold (although the batter was nice), the curry sauce was really cold (we reheated it), and the chips were overcooked and too crispy. Overall, it was a mediocre meal, which was surprising compared to previous visits. The staff were not friendly at all, with no smiles or apologies – in fact, they were quite intimidating. I hope this was just a one-time issue, but I am hesitant to return.

The sausages tasted like spoiled fish, completely terrible. The food took over an hour to arrive and was delivered cold with missing parts of the order. The chips were pale and the nuggets tasted like cardboard. The batter had a bad odor and tasted old. This was the worst fish and chips I have ever had, extremely disappointing.
