El Metate Mexican - East Dougherty

Do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant at all cost!!!! Staff served other around us, our order never got put in or delivered. We waiting for 30 mins and we left. Staff got rude as to why we left but our food never got put in or delivered to us.

My husband waited over an hour for our to go order. When we finally got our food it was cold AND they forgot to give us the consomé for our cold and soggy birria tacos. Our food must have been just sitting back there waiting for someone to bring it out. I won't be going back.

The food was amazing. Super good. The rice was perfect with the fresh tomatoes. Guacamole was perfect.

Looked a little sketchy pulling in, but it was fine inside and had great service and great tasting food.

The food looked delicious for the price. But it was lacking flavor and my quesadilla was very oily.
