Raspados Celeste - East Ellijay

Cute spot with good food. Was a little concerned the rice would be dry based on an earlier review but the night we went there the food was awesome, and better than an average Mexican place. Never had raspados before. DELICIOUS. I got one called something Sunrise. Uh yes. Do it.

This is the “off the beaten path” restaurant you want. They have a large menu, but the star of the restaurant is the variety of gourmet shaved ice so yummy! My favorite is the diabloko a sweet, chili lime delight if you like that flavor on fruit, you’re going to love this!

I'd say don't go but here we go. I got the burrito trio. It was supposed to come with steak chicken shrimp which it did except it only had one shrimp chicken dry to the Bone, the steak nice and chewy ‍, The rice had a nice rubbery texture to it and the refried beans well They're the same everywhere you go. I also ordered a Long Island iced tea i said make that a double drink came out. I don't think it had any vodka in it at all. Bummer right? My wife ordered the chicken quesadilla it Came out very dry. Very bland. No flavor and if you're reading this why don't y'all try to do better please. I mean we're not coming back but hopefully if y'all get y'all's act together we will. And why are y'all putting cut hot dogs in with your charros? Y'all really hurting that bad to where y'all have to cut costs to buy hot dogs to put into your beans. Have a pleasant day. Cheerio. And yes, like I stated the presentation of the food looks absolutely delicious but looks can be deceiving. We have a wonderful dinner here on our last night in Ellijay, and no surprise this place was exactly like the reviews I read before choosing to come here. It stated that there were no other customers and then it turned into a packed house! Same experience for us, we were the only group there and suddenly every table was full with hungry and happy customers. The food was the best we have ever eaten by far. The deserts were eye catching as we ordered what other walk in customers ordered. Love this place so much will definitely come back. Please try them out 10/10

Food was bland and the margaritas were sub standard tasted like a glass full of mixer.
