Lipari Espresso Bar - East Geelong

Deluso per vedere così tante recensioni negative per questo posto. Il mio amico e io guidiamo un'ora solo per venire qui !! Il cibo è una parte generosa e pieno di gusto. Prendi un cesto con pane (il nostro era sempre morbido e fresco !!) e un'intera ciotola di parmigiano - il mio amico, parte preferita ha !! Il servizio è sempre stato educato e facile per noi, mai alcun problema. Come ho detto, viaggiamo per questo posto !! Uno dei nostri preferiti.

Chicken underdone, pasta dry and water on bottom of plate. Partners dish was almost cold by the time we got it; 55 minutes after ordering. We were looking forward to desert that night however didn't bother after we rated our mains 1/10. My maccas the day before as a rushed lunch was more enjoyable.

After spending a decade in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne I know well good Italian cooking. So far after many years in Geelong I've yet to find an equivalent .. that is, until lunch today at Lipari.As a couple we shared bruschetta, minestrone and lasagna. All wonderful, delicious and generous seves. Smiling, caring and attentive service by a nice young man. This shall become a regular. Glad that I've finally found a home for my Italian tastebuds in Geelong.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL & the Manager's attitude STINKS.I ordered the Veal Scallopini & not only was it TOUGH, but the sauce had separated, & the vegetables were over MICROWAVED. It didn't stop there..... when I complained quietly, they insisted I was OVERREACTING & made me pay for it. (even charged me Credit Card fee on top of this!)The other meals were average.I frequent this restaurant, BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!What happened to good old fashioned service?
