I had ordered the omelette with home fries and toast, but since I wasn't interested in those sides, I asked if I could substitute corned beef hash instead, even offering to pay the additional cost. To my surprise, the upcharge was a whopping $10.50, which I found completely unreasonable, so I opted to stick with the home fries and toast. Unfortunately, the potatoes were hard, undercooked, and very bland. On a positive note, the waitress was attentive, and the atmosphere was charming, albeit small and simple. However, we left feeling unsatisfied. Perhaps we'll give Ed another chance in the future.
The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I've been coming here for over 20 years, and I can't even remember how long it's been! It’s always a great experience!
Absolutely the best breakfast in Rhode Island, no question about it! I had the spinach, pepperoni, and cheese omelet, and it was fantastic. Food: 5/5.
