I sat inside and overheard a customer ahead of me asking the barista about the NHS track and trace app for COVID-19. When it was my turn to order, I tried to scan the QR code but couldn't find it behind the Perspex screen. I asked the male barista for help, and he pointed out multiple QR codes around the area. His female colleague also chimed in, but I felt a bit embarrassed for not noticing them earlier. Despite the confusion, I enjoyed sitting inside and observing the busy atmosphere with families. Although I may not be the most tech-savvy, I believe all customers deserve respect and assistance.
While in the city for the day, we stopped by Caffè Nero for a light lunch before heading to the lake. They had all the usual items in stock and it was a pleasant experience dining inside, overlooking the bustling marketplace.
This establishment serves awful coffee and old pastries. There are plenty of other options in Petersfield that would be a better choice.
A cozy, relaxing little caffe, ideally located near the city center, with limited parking around the square directly outside, there are indoor seating outdoors and sell a large selection of hot cold drinks as well as cakes .limited warm snacks. I was served by a really nice friendly staff who made my mocha perfect and it was hot to visit in contrast to my previous, which is why I avoided the place for almost 3yrs, a great place to warm up, or cool off depending on the season in this very stunning opposite.
One of our fave Sunday places in town for a tea and hot choc plus an occasional pastry. Always friendly staff even if the queue is long on a farmers market Sunday.
