Dhanmondi Tandoori - East Hampshire

We won a meal for two which was brilliant. But the food was really tasty. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his korma and myself who can only eat certain food enjoyed every bit. I highly recommend paying them a visit. I have dined inside before which was also wonderful. We received great service on both occasions.

Nothing more that needs to be said other than the order was wrong, and the food was so late that it was cold. Not even tepid ! But when calling to remonstrate, it 's just not their fault because they 're too busy and most customers get the wrong order. Oh... and again they 're too busy to deal with the complaint or resolve it. Must remember to pay them another day when I 'm too busy to do so at the time or ordering or collecting. Possibly an idea to 'not bite off more than you can chew ' ? (No apologies for the food related pun) and to perhaps ensure the menu is clear enough to avoid the constant confusions between customers and staff ?

For a meal I had in restaurant this evening. Poppadoms fine although mediocre mango mint sauces. Nan breads good. Chicken Tikka Masala probably the worst I 've ever had anywhere, with sour/bitter flavour and the keema rice 'clumpy ' with little taste. Bombay potatoes were ok. Service ok although no finesse. Asked for coke with just a little ice and it came with loads, no offer of pudding menu and not attentive even though didn 't seem particularly busy. Certainly not cheap either, and we will not be returning again.

We ordered a take away and website indicated a one hour wait. The delivery people called for directions, then ignored them and got lost. They called again and I had to walk to meet them and was given no apologies. We have had deliveries before with no issue. By now food was tepid and it was 2 hours from ordering. Will collect next time.

Ordered 3 meals. 2 were okay but the 3rd was not very good at all. King prawn mouli was more like a thin soup with very small prawn that were dry and rubbery. Naan breads were also very tough. I have had the same meal inside the restaurant and it was excellent. Sadly not so the second time around.
