The Palm East Hampton

I had high expectations when I visited this restaurant, as I had previously dined at The Palm in Chicago. However, I was extremely disappointed. The signature chopped salad I ordered tasted like mush, and even the waiter agreed that it resembled salsa more than a salad. The sautéed spinach had crispy, dried leaves and lacked flavor. Although we shared a lobster, which was priced at $25 per pound with the smallest being 3 pounds, the kitchen managed to ruin the crab meat stuffing. The carrot cake dessert had a taste reminiscent of a refrigerator. The service was slow and inefficient, with only one server and one busser attending to 20 tables of diners. We waited a long time for our coffee to be served with dessert. At a price of $100 per person including tip, I expected much better. I suggest saving your money and time by dining elsewhere.

I thought it was strange to be out of lobsters at 8pm . Also out of chocolate cake . No dessert for my husbands birthday . Steak was great and so was our server .

Excellent food, service atmosphere. Really enjoyed our dinner at The Palm. Looking forward to going back soon!!

Very disappointing relative to dining at the Palm in the past. Foul smell coming through the vents into the restaurant. Bus boy said he thought it was a septic tank issue. Ribeye was overcooked, tough and tasteless. Wedge salad was minuscule and poorly made. Sides very average. Red wines were served well over normal room temperature. No sign of a sommelier to talk with despite multiple requests. No bread offered or served. Management seemed flustered. Staff well meaning but amateurish. Very over priced relative to the quality served.

Always have a great time at the Palm EH, but where did Joe the bartender go?!?! So many people miss him! Loveliest guy/martini maker on the planet!!!
