Hatillo Puerto Rican - East Hartford

Last minute decision to try out Hatillo and what a gem we found, great authentic food and great service!

First time here, ordered 1 Empanadilla de Res(beef) but it cannot be beef, it tasted more like canned corned beef.Also ordered 1 Potato Ball, it had a buttered taste or mayonnaise in the actual mashed potato.... Real beef in this one but overall not great..Flavors weren't up to par. I do not consider these fried items true to Puerto Rican Food Flavor.

Food was good the first time, second time the pork chops were different. Overall good, but didn't see consistency in the pork chops.

Pretty disappointing. Been there twice. Love to support new restaurants and any small business in my neighborhood, but the food is not fresh and very greasy.
