The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious, with perfect eggs. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay here.
Yesterday, my friends and I had a delightful Sunday lunch at The Baker Arms after a lovely 4-mile walk in the area. The owner, Martin, and his staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our experience very enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.
If you're anything like me, you probably search for 'hidden gems' in the area when looking for places to eat. Well, I found a hidden gem in the Bayford community - the Bakers Arms. I drive past it twice a day and each time something catches my eye. Today, I finally decided to go there. I didn't look it up online, I just knew the name and location. And let me tell you, it was amazing. Martin greeted us warmly and showed us to the cozy, well-presented dining room. We both had the lasagne, which was incredible. The flavors were perfect and even the chips on the side were crispy. My partner and I always rate our food, and he never goes above a 7.5. But today, he said it was a 10 and then changed it to an 11. From the hospitality to the food, the Bakers Arms is a must-visit hidden gem. I'm so glad I followed my instincts and experienced this wonderful venue. Thank you to Martin and Bev for being great hosts and for the delicious food. My partner is still raving about the lasagne. We can't wait to visit again soon. Best regards, Georgina and Charlie.
Lovely lunch today with a group of 10, after booking at short notice. Friendly helpful service, especially as we ordered paid separately in pairs or singles. Food was excellent, well presented piping hot. We may be back!
A proper English country pub, with great pub food. The steak and ale pie, is possibly the best pie ever and the gravy is outstanding. Warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Some beautiful walks near by and lovely place to visit after.
