Pub on way out from town quiet on visit this afternoon ideal for group visiting

Bar staff was miserable. Pizza operation was excellent food, great value, and lovely people.

Multiple visits across the years but reviewing August Bank Holiday 2023: Lovely outside area with plenty of seating and lots of sheltered options too. Attended during Hertford Music Festival and had a pizza from their on-site pizza van which was nice. Could do with more lighting outside towards the pub end. Wheelchair accessible outside.

Great staff. Didn't eat as I wasn't hungry. But the menu looked amazing. Will definitely try the food next time.

Good pub, decent selection of beers. A bit surprised they didn't have the rugby Champions League final on tv with a name like Saracens but I'll be returning.
