Buttermilk's Chicken - East Islip

Some of the crispiest fried chicken I have ever had. Juicy inside and tender meat. Great spot. Super friendly staff. 10/10 !!!

Hidden gem ? Pretty good fried chicken. If you like ? KICKIN' CHICKEN is a great option. Also, the roasted chicken is worth the wait. Better alternative to Pudgies if you are debating the two.

Great on all counts. High quality chicken. Delicious batter. Light and crispy. Even the white meat was juicy and tasty. Highly recommend.

After running a few errands around the area we found ourselves hungry, but did not want to have a big sit down and did not want to have fast food. We found Buttermilk's on our route home and decided to drive by to see what it looked like. Well let me just say that this meal was like walking back in time to that old fashioned home cooked meal I didn't even know I was yearning for! The corn bread?!?! Whaaat??? The best I think I have EvER had! I'm saying if you haven't tried this place yet, just do it. You will be very happy you did! The staff and atmosphere was super friendly and the seating comfortable and clean. I'm not sure what else I can say but enjoy!!

Food was amazing!! The owners were so sweet, kind and informative of their menu. The interior was so cute and cozy. You'll love the chicken and make sure to try their chicken salad ! So good! :
