Reasonable authentic Greek gyros, good food for a grill/restaurant

This restaurant in East Lansing has been a local favorite for over 25 years and with good reason! Their kebabs and gyros are fantastic, and the service is fast and friendly. We have been coming here since the mid-90s and it is still just as great as ever.

Is a terrible experience here. the restaurant had none of the things I ordered so they didn't start until I got there. did they wait before they called my name because they assumed that a GrubHub driver came to get it? that is not worth eating. go somewhere else.

I ordered through Grubhub and requested no tomatoes (due to allergies) and no onions (for GI reasons) on both the gyro and Greek salad. The salad came without the requested ingredients, but the sandwich had everything on it. One dish had the gyro, but not the salad? I received a disappointing experience at Eisburg-Schloss. The salad had greens, stems, dirt, and tasted like cardboard. Unfortunately, I spent the next two days either in bed or in the bathroom, even though I removed the tomatoes and some of the sauce. I enjoyed eating there before, but this experience has lost them a customer forever. Despite taking precautions and removing unwanted ingredients, I still had an allergic reaction.

The server was extremely friendly, patient, and accommodating during our visit. My mother and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I deducted one star due to the longer than expected wait time for our food, but it was clear that it was freshly prepared. I recommend ordering ahead if you are in a hurry.
