Sparty's Kabob - East Lansing

Among the best, if not the best, Middle Eastern restaurant in EL. I recommend their catering above anything else as their dine in experience and catering are vastly different. The staff are also very kind and attentive. Their eggplant salad, babagnoush, Burgulr, Lamb Shank are a must-try. Cheese cake is always a pleasure to have.

Got the Chicken Schwarma Sandwich with garlic sauce. It was so flavorful and juicy. I forgot to take a picture because I was really hungry and inhaled this thing! Also got the baklava, which was the perfect sweet end to my lunch. Be advised, do not try to eat this sandwich while driving, you will end up covered in it like I did. But sooooo worth it!

Friendly service, great food, and quite a broad and unique variety of tasty dishes. for vegetarians and meat eaters.

I got the sparty’s regular plate with Greek salad, eggplant salad, white rice, and lamb kebabs. I quite enjoyed the meal, especially the lamb kebabs and rice. The eggplant salad wasn’t for me, but my little brother loved it. The restaurant had no wait time and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall I’d definitely recommend trying Sparty’s

I wanted to love this place as I love locally owned places but it's just ok. Nothing (other than the babaganoush) had much flavor. We were especially disappointed in the garlic sauce which had zero garlic flavor. The babaganoush is the star, you should get lots of it.
