Swagath Indian Cuisine - East Lansing

Food isn't great here. Nowhere close to authentic Indian taste. Service is pretty abysmal as well. We ordered several things on our recent visit and were pretty disappointed with food and service.

We went to Swagath for their buffet and it was amazing. We felt like eating in an Indian wedding LOL. They have many vegetarian and non-vegetarian items and each of them were delicious. We loved their pistachio mousse cake. Will visit again :

We have eaten here multiple times now and I have to say this is some of the best Indian cuisine I have had in the states. Absolutely delicious.

Stopped in for the buffet. We were very happy to see it back. There were a lot of options, and everything tasted great. The service was good, and the buffet was restocked continuously. My only problem is that we paid full price for my 9 and 11 year olds who could only tolerate the spice level of a limited number of items. That put us at $85 with tax, drinking water only. By the time you add in a tip (yes you need to tip at buffets) and if you ordered a fountain drink, you're over $100 for a family of 4 to get lunch with no leftovers. My wife and I may be back, but probably not somewhere we'll visit as a family until the kids are older. Great food though.

DONT ORDER THRU UBER EATS; Closed down the restaurant and gave my order to someone else.
