Contribuisci feedbackSophie was amazing, very quick and efficient. Our drinks and food arrived promptly. Sophie made sure our food came out quickly and that our requests were fulfilled. She was an exceptional waitress! I would definitely return and request Sophie as our server.
On a positive note, the food we ordered for our dinner party was delicious and our guests were pleased with their choices. The grounds and views from the windows were beautiful. However, our room for the night was disappointing, with basic amenities, subpar bedding, and lack of charm. Despite the pleasant day we had, we would not stay or use the Hall's facilities again, and we would not recommend it. It seems like they may have the wrong staff for customer service and cleaning, or they may be understaffed. We had always heard good things about Kenwick Hall, but unfortunately, we left feeling let down.
I do not recommend this spa at all due to the poor level of customer service myself and friends have experienced. I also advise against purchasing gift vouchers from them. I received a voucher in April 2021 for my 40th birthday, which was during lockdown. I planned to use it with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday and a friend's cancer journey. When I discovered the voucher was only valid for 6 months, I contacted the hotel to request an extension to a year to accommodate our group booking. Other businesses typically offer vouchers valid for at least a year, so I thought this was a reasonable request. However, I was told by a receptionist that the manager could only extend the voucher until the end of 2021 and could not claim the money for it. Despite our efforts as working mothers to find a date in January 2022, a month after the agreed extension, the spa refused to extend the voucher further. They only offered a discount of £10 per person for our booking, even though the voucher was worth £139.99 and the service we planned to use cost £109.00, resulting in a profit for the business. Despite contacting the manager multiple times and even reaching out to the head office, I received no satisfactory response or resolution. The lack of communication and unwillingness to accommodate a reasonable request for an extension on the voucher has left me disappointed and frustrated with the spa's poor customer service. It is disheartening to see a business turn down potential trade and customer satisfaction in this way. #tryingtosupportlocalbusinesses.
The Breakfast was first class, the food was of the highest quality, social distancing was in place and worked very well. We ate in the Restaurant on arrival and also on the day of the wedding and both were enjoyable experiences. Overall we had a terrific stay, beautiful room, clean and very well maintained. There was an issue that was sorted very efficiently by the Hotel Manager to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this venue.
Lovely hotel. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Good food, even though limited choice. All good apart from the lack of staff and staff experience. Whilst there was a wedding on and my sisters wedding was the day after along with golf groups in attendance, the service due to staff shortage was ridiculous. We asked for liqueur coffees and waited approx 2 hrs and the 1st ones were 1/2 glass of cream, the 2nd attempt was was nothing short of a milky mess and no baileys and finally the 3rd ones were okay. We didn’t pay for them in the end but the point is that regardless of how many events are going on, the hotel needed to ensure ALL guests were looked after. My sisters wedding went well and the day was lovely as was the food but again just a little extra thought on some of the proceedings would of gone a long way in making it extra special.
