Contribuisci feedbackI ordered through the app and the starter arrived promptly. However, there was a 50-minute wait for the mains. I had to inquire about it in the end and no apologies were offered. One of the dishes was cold upon arrival, but I didn't request a replacement as I didn't have time to spare.
They frequently run out of items, like Coke, which has happened multiple times. On this visit, they were out of broccoli and sweetcorn. Occasionally, some staff members ignore or can be rude/sarcastic when you try to get their attention.
We were seated at table 37. My wife requested a thigh chicken piece, but I accidentally ordered a breast chicken piece. This mix-up tends to happen frequently. However, when the order was delivered to our table, my wife pointed out the mistake and the staff handled it very politely. I acknowledged the error and the staff graciously replaced the chicken for us.
I went into Nando’s today to have lunch with my kids after school 4 kids in total 2 set of 8 year old twins and the other 7 year old twins. I asked to order a whole chicken but my kids only eat leg so I asked for the bottom half of the chicken. The cashier said they would have to ask the manager as the currently have 4 top half’s. The manager refused to let me buy the bottom half unless I bought 4 different chicken legs which cost £38 excluding drinks whereas the sharing platter was £23. I tried to plead with her but she wouldn’t even stop to talk to me she was telling me she can’t offer the bottom half’s because the have 4 top half’s which they have to get rid of. She acted so racist towards me and my kids because we are black. We wouldn’t even look me in the eye. I tried to beg her as the kids were really excited about Nando’s and this was my treat to them but I could not afford to pay for separate meals as I had actually saved up for this treat. We had to leave nandos. My kids were so gutted. There were 2 witnesses there that have said they will write a review as well as they were not happy with how me and my kids were treated. The managers name is Christina. She is literally the worst most racist manager I have come across. I am not happy at all. I have been to other Nando’s in other areas and all the staff are so friendly and professional. I would never recommend going to this Nando’s as a single black mother trying to make ends meet.
Just awful, the wait was long the staff looked bored, not many serving. When we did get the food had to send back one dish 3 times. Spoke to the manager. So no refund after the 3 replacement arrived. Think I might give this place a miss for awhile.
