Contribuisci feedbackI had great food and great service here after arrival. The place is neat and the waitress was nice and friendly. Can’t fault them on anything really.
I paid R195 for half an avo, rice and Cabbage. Chicken was not edible, dry inside, so much batter it hurt to chew it. I paid for the meal and tipped coz waiter was not a problem. I complained about the food and was offered an apology from waitress. I will not return to this establishment should I have to make use of this airport again.
Arrived and took a sit and no one came to my assistance. 15 minutes passed I went to the counter decided to place my order. Lady took my order left me standing at the till. After more than 10 minutes standing there another waiter asked if I could sit while I wait for my order. While sitting waitress comes with my meal in to go takeaway and she says was not aware that I wanted to sit in. To cut long story short as I start to eat half way through my meal she comes with a bill and stands there so I can pay. As I sit there a group of ladies walk it, they are greeted with a smile from entrance and asked to place an order. (I don't want to say they were treated like this because of the colour of their skin) but had bad experience in terms of service.
A friend took me for a quick catch up before my departure. However, when we were leaving the establishment, a waitress looked very miserable and emotional. When we asked her whether she was okay, she broke down into tears. She said she was very exhausted and that the manager refused for her to take the day to rest because they were short staffed. With mental health being a global pandemic especially amongst young people, it is very disappointing for an establishment such as Mugg n Bean to be perpetuating such an issue in our society. I was very disheartened at what happened today, and consequently will not be returning to Mugg n Bean !
I experienced terrible customer service at this restaurant. While waiting for my flight to Johannesburg, I stopped by and was told by a waiter to come in and sit anywhere, as someone would come to take my order. However, no one came to assist me for 30 minutes. When I finally asked how to get served, I still had to wait until right at my boarding time to receive my order.
