Contribuisci feedbackThe menu is small with limited options. I was willing to spend a fair amount of money for an upscale restaurant but there was nothing that looked appealing to me, so I ordered the beet salad.
Service lacked professionalism. Server who took care of table to our side stood right next to our table with her butt right in our face. There was open space on the other side of the table. When we were seated, we were given only one menu. My dining companion had to send the risotto back due to an overwhelming bitter taste. When we were told of the featured dessert, a maple walnut sheesh cake, we ordered it...grant it I did just say “the cheesecake” the waitress brought the regular cheesecake. Small issue, but we were given spoons for our cheesecake and carrot cake...I would have expected a fork. This was my third visit here, and probably my last.
This was our second visit and it will be our last. The first one a year ago was fantastic but most recently, not so great. We were a table of six, it was quite noisy when we arrived but calmed down as son as people left for Budweiser Gardens. Our waiter may have been overly stressed by the crowd that preceded us but the service that we received was sub-standard. If management wants a more detailed account of this bad experience, I will provide it but, at this point, we won't return.
First off, it's gorgeousLuxurious banquettes (tables, too), a room for private dining, and interesting art piecesEven the bathrooms are smashing.
Blu Duby is a wonderful restaurant, but it is not for everyoneThe food is relatively good, but the portions are hard to predict.
