In the early Saturday evening dinner in this bright, comfortable and intimate restaurant. the menu choice, although limited, was excellent. eating was great and served by helpful and pleasant staff. Given the high quality of eating and service, this is really worth money. I would highly recommend friends and family.
The inventiveness and taste of the dishes in La Potiniere are a genuine cut above anything you'll have experienced before. Dig in for the long haul, dwell on the taste experience of each mouthful and use the generous space between courses to reflect blissfully and anticipate eagerly. Book well in advance.
Our first experience at this restaurant was outstanding and we will definitely be returning. We were lucky to secure a spot for lunch on Friday last minute, as reservations are typically made weeks in advance. The restaurant is cozy, with tables spaced out nicely. The table settings were elegant, with crisp white linens and a delicate flower centerpiece. The amuse bouche, a Thai coconut soup, was perfectly seasoned and could have easily been a starter. The starters were exceptional and surpassed the soup in flavor. Both my wife and I opted for the duck as our main course, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The highlight of the meal was the dessert - a blackcurrant pane cotta with baked apple rings and apple yoghurt ice cream that was simply divine. The meal was completed with coffee and petit fours, a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable. Although we did not have any wine, the extensive and reasonably priced wine list is worth exploring. I highly recommend this restaurant and advise booking well in advance, as it is truly worth the effort.
La Potiniére is a small restaurant with a big personality. It surpasses the trendy new spots and celebrity chefs with its unique charm and incredible food. Keith Marley and Mary Runciman have crafted a beautiful dining experience, where every detail is meticulously planned and executed. Customers are drawn back time and time again by the exquisite dishes and exceptional service. La Potiniére is truly a special place created by special people.
