Pine Marten - East Lothian

I stayed overnight on Boxing Day and enjoyed great food at the adjoining pub at very reasonable prices. Hannah W provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to accommodate us. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I've been to the Pine Marten before, and had good experiences, but had a lovely friendly trip today. We have a couple of young kids and sometimes feel restaurants can be a bit funny about having us there, but the team at the Pine Marten couldn't have made us feel more welcome.

I visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch with a large family group. Most of us ordered the Sunday roast, which we all agreed was excellent and very generous in portion size. The others in our party chose the festive menu, which we found to be great value for the money. The menu offered a variety of options for each course, not just the typical turkey and Christmas pudding. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to assisting us with any food allergies. Despite the busy atmosphere, our food arrived promptly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My family gathered to celebrate a 91st birthday at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we were pleased with our meals. We have dined here a few times and always enjoy it. The menu offers options for those with dietary restrictions, such as gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan. The quality and value of the food are excellent. The restaurant is a great option for those with mobility issues, as it is all on one level with a large carpark nearby. We will definitely return in the future.
