Today the nice lady at the register charged me for a tall iced latte bc I wanted a venti but w only one shot of decaf due to a caffeine allergy. I need it filled w milk to weaken it so I don't get sick. The lady making it REFUSED to add more milk other than what would be in a tall. I said but I need it filled w milk. She refused. I said I'd go back and pay more but I need it filled. She still refused. She was not very nice and def not accommodating. Obviously I could not drink it. Very sad and I'll think twice about stopping hear in the future. I'll just stop in Mystic.
The East Lyme Starbucks historically been one of the worst in CT and today was no exception. Food was cold. Coffee filled only half way in cup. Staff needs to be retrained or replaced.
I love Starbucks, but this location is the absolute worst. Every single time I have gone to this location my drink has been screwed up, whether it be the milk choice or just not including the ingredients in the drink. Tonight I ordered the Honey Citrus Mint tea, and when I picked up my drink it was boiling, so I couldn’t test it in store. I took a sip on my way to my destination, and it was missing two of the main ingredients: the lemonade and the honey. I paid five dollars for tea, that I could make at home. I called the store, and spoke with a supervisor on duty, who informed me that they could only issue me a refund if I came into the store the next day (not true, the store manager has issued a refund when provided with my order number), and was ver unapologetic and unhelpful about this. Do yourself a favor and skip this location and go to the Waterford location or the Groton location.

Great atmosphere and food is great. Coffee is even better. Service is often very slow on the other hand. In the morning be prepared to wait 25 or 30 minutes to place your coffee order and be out the door with
