The Valley Restaurant - East Maitland

Worse than I ever thought it would be! we went last night, the place was in close darkness, no one was there. we were in the last few years in the valley restaurant. Previously, there are great food options and worth money. Unfortunately, when we visited tonight, we discovered that they had changed the format/menu. they are no longer served at their table or have clean cutlery waiting for them at their table. Instead, the waiting personnel (by no own disorder) are milling near the kitchen that tries to be busy while they help themselves. the menu is no longer a main sauce 2 amazing pages included in the price. it is now like any other pub or club. tonight I wanted the carving with only maischekartoffel and no chips or salat. even if I got less food, I had to pay for the macular and the little pot of gravity. I ordered chicken schnitzel it came with an salat (that is what they call it) no tomaten, gurke, only green leaves and a white sauce, the carving looked like it was deep fried and hard! so **** hard my wife couldn't eat it! we are so incredibly disappointed about the price increase, less food and more work for the customer (order at the desk and collect their own cutlery). When I asked the reason for the change, I was told that the business has to be changed to save and stay money. Apparently, the directors of the east maitland bowls golf club need to take immediate measures, as the place is dead in a month or so!. change it back east maitland bowls golf club!

Although I got less food, I had to pay for the maic and the small pot of gravitation was $3,10 extra. also our popular red wine jus is gone. we are so incredibly disappointed about the price increase, less food and more work for the customer (order at the desk and collect their own cutlery). So, my partner and daughter all went into this restaurant only for the soaking, my partner chose the humpty doo stripsramundi special, I had the panko crumb carving with side aswell his chips and green beans with speck, eating comes on the. table and I looked at the side of the green beans that is intended to have speck, and there was maybe 5 or 6

The valley restaurant was our way to the restaurant when we moved 12 months ago into the opposite. I had nothing but praise for it. we all took our friends there and they all wanted to visit a second. then we had locked up. we've gotten out. during this time and they were mostly good. Since the reopening, however, we have found the quality of the meal times, which gradually become worse during each visit. Last night it reached a whole time deep my meal was unthinkable! the staff was very apologetic and I didn't have to pay for my meal, but I'm so disappointed that my favorite restaurant has deteriorated so fast, I didn't realize that a change of the chef could make so much difference. Maybe we'll follow jordy's new place.

I just moved into the area and was looking for a club to join for regular meals with family and friends so thought I would check out The Valley. Unfortunately my meal was very sub standard and I could only eat half of it. I...have had better meals at fast food cafeterias. The fish was stodgy consistency and tasteless. The batter was way undercooked. You get two side dishes with each meal here which is good the mashed potato was ok but what was supposed to be sauteed Asian vegetables was a stringy mush. Sometimes things go wrong in the kitchen and they staff are keen to know. Here they didn't care that I couldn't eat the rest of my meal and felt I had wasted my money. Very disappointing and I'll be finding somewhere else for our meals from here.
