Absolutely great service. Got the schnitzel with onions, potatoes, and kraut.Next time I think I'll get the standard fries with sauerkraut but the dumpling looked good too.
The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the servers were very friendly and attentive. It didn't look good when someone from the back (maybe cook or dishwasher considering how dirty he was) bringing out food. Most of the food was flavorless. Only the sauerkraut and red cabbage had flavor but didn't not taste fresh. Tasted more like it came from a jar or can. I lived in Germany and never had schnitzel or spattzel that was so flavorless. The Black Forest cake was also flavorless. We definitely will NOT be going back.
If you like authentic German food, this is the place to be in Mesa!
Lovely little german restuarant. Absolutely charming, delicious food and great beer!
