The flavors and spices were incredibly well balanced, and it wasn't overly spicy at all. The only downside was that I couldn't really taste the garlic in the garlic naan; it was odd because I could smell it but didn’t taste it. Despite that, I will definitely be ordering again in the future!
Give it a try! I always order the chicken tikka masala or the fried chicken. The chicken tikka masala features a sweet, aromatic red sauce with a rich, creamy texture that pairs perfectly with Basmati rice. The tikka masala is quite similar but has a stronger emphasis on spices and sports a vibrant orange/yellow color compared to the butter chicken. Other must-tries include the palate-pleasing rich and creamy spinach sauce with tasty cheese cubes served over garlic naan and rice, as well as the samosas, which are impressive for their delicious blend of spices and herbs, generous size, and a delightful sweet and tangy tamarind sauce. In summary, this place offers some of the most flavorful dishes I've ever had in Quebec City, and it has become a personal favorite. You're in a world food market, so don’t hesitate—step inside! Seriously!
This is a fantastic spot for lunch if you’re craving Indian food in East Moline! It’s one of my go-to places whenever I want something delicious!
Tonight I ordered because it only I love Indian food ive had this place multiplie times, I would just like to say how much I love it. I got butter chicken, rice, Naan Samosas, everything was amazing, hot (I got it delivered, the Naan package was very hot on touch, but I know that they use the tone oven to make it) the rice pairs so good with the buttered chicken, the chicken is so tender. Please note this place if you love Indian food!
The Quad Cities has a lot of great authentic Indian food, to be honest, and I’ve tried most of it. Today was my first time getting take away from Indian Cafe, located inside World Market grocery store on Avenue of the Cities. I wish I’d tried it sooner. It was incredibly affordable, even with a small fee for ordering online. We got three main dishes (matter paneer x2 and butter chicken) which each came with our choice of side so we chose basmati rice. Four orders of 2pc samosas that came with chutney. And accidentally (happily) ordered 7 naan. $65 and it’ll feed the three of us for probably four meals. The matter paneer was the most delicious I’ve ever had. And when I say I’ve had a lot of matter paneer, it’s like a 7 year old saying they’ve had a lot of Kraft Mac n cheese. I’m made of this stuff. It was perfectly spiced, the heat level was spot on, and it was just so dang good. While I was waiting for my order to be bagged, I was mesmerized by watching a gentleman making the next batch of naan. The folks working/running the place were very nice. The food was perfect. Can’t ask for much more. Go spend some time shopping around the world market while you’re waiting for your food. There’s any kind of world cuisine you can imagine and even I was surprised to see some things that are hard to find in the QC like Lebanese and Greek packaged foods. You won’t regret it. Thanks for a delicious meal.
