Jennie's Boxcar - East Moline

This is a great place to go for a day out or a romantic evening. My husband and I went for lunch and he absolutely loved their featured appetizer, the Chipotle bean dip. It was delicious!

These were probably some of the best nachos I?ve ever had. The chips were nice and crispy along with some amazing Barbacoa beef. It was a fantastic late night snack!

Fun and funky describes Jennie?s Boxcar. Located in a former industrial area, Jennie?s Boxcar is a great option among the other choices in this redeveloped area. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. The bar looked inviting, but I was joining friendsat a table. The interior seemed roomy and open. Great colors and feel. My table enjoyed the friendly service and the deliciousfood. Tacos are a mainstay and there are plenty of options to entice. It was a challenge ordering drinks-so msny choices! Craftbeers, specialty drinks, and an envious liquor selection. The tequila menu rocked! Would I go again? Of course. And you shouldtoo.

WARNING!!! This is going to be your new favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. The amazing flavors and textures, the ambiance, the sweet staff, the perfect dipping chips, a respectable pico de gallo, even their choice of music combine for themost enjoyable experience. I highly recommend the Pipsqueak Tacos. So good! We were just passing through across the country,but if I lived here, I'd come back for sure to try out some of those drinks.

Love this atmosphere and their food. Excellent wide variety of tacos and good drinks too. Staff is friendly and the artwork on the walls is amazing.
