Contribuisci feedbackIt was an ok place to stay but did not match my expectations for an Embassy Suites hotel. The room cleanliness was not to standard. There was staining and mildew in the bathroom. The windows were dirty with cobwebs and dead bugs. I saw what looked like blood staining on the carpet. I was surprised to learn the bar closes at 10 pm. The parking situation was not ideal. They had some convention and we ended up having to park far away from the main hotel. It just wasn't what I expected from a Hilton property.
Traveling through Peoria and decided to book a room here. The room smelled, carpet was filthy, bathroom was gross, and weed smell coming from rooms on both sides of us. I was out of there in 15 mins. The reason I gave them 2 stars was because they did return our money. They really need to update this hotel. Moved to The Holiday Inn Express and there's no comparison and the price was basically the same.
Mia and Jamila are the best! Very friendly, always courteous, and always eager to assist in any way! They enhanced the experience that I had here at the hotel and I am happy to be a guest because of their service. I provide five stars because of them.Rooms: The rooms are very nice, but a bit dated and in need of a few repairs. I moved from a room on the upper floors to a room that was lower down bacause the AC was not cooling properly. These are some other examples of what I noticed: Only one of the outlets in the desk lamp with the power plugs at the business table on both rooms; l had to complete minor repairs on the closet door to allow it to close properly and stay closed; One of the nightstand lamps in my original room was missing entirely.
Many of us stayed here for a church wide conference May 31-June 3. The hotel seemed outdated to me, but was still lovely. The people serving our food were absolutely excellent! Kind, super friendly at early hours of the morning and helpful. However, this hotel charged us for rooms that were already paid for and said they would refund us our money in three days. This did not happen. It took weeks for us to get a full refund, in fact, six weeks. In that time there were various charges, and then refunds and more charges and refunds. It’s almost as if something unethical was happening. When we called and spoke to someone in accounting and then management, we were told “someone” clicked a button by mistake thus charging us inappropriately for things. I can believe that once but not multiple times. This also happened to other people in our group. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I certainly didn’t like my money being tied up for almost two months and for absolutely no reason at all. Especially since my daughter just graduated and we were hosting family from five different states at our home and needed that money. Paula H.
The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location across the river, offering stunning views from the back. It's convenient to access and exit. While the rooms could use some updating, they are still quite good. The interior atmosphere is lovely, creating a pleasant dining experience. The Happy Hour is enjoyable, although the bartender could be more approachable. Breakfast was excellent, featuring homemade omelets and pancakes, and the cook was exceptional! Overall, I would rate the rooms a solid 4 out of 5.
