Frequent this place often as Maria is a nice woman and the service is good. I've never written a complaint about a restaurant before but tonight I can't...
Service is always good but the food quality is dropping.
Three stars overall based on great service only. Gave this a try, hoping to find a decent Mexican restaurant in town. The place is nice enough and the staff is very efficient. The food? Meh. I had a burrito grande and it was good but definitely on the salty side. The very salty side. Might have been the marinated chicken. The wife ordered the chile relleno with a taco and got enchiladas with a taco. Happens. The server quickly brought out he correct dish and who knows what that was. It was a plate with rice, beans, and a huge blob of some cheese-like substance. No chile relleno anywhere. Took a fork and poked around the cheese goo and sure enough: two dime-sized pieces of chile were floating in it. That's it. Both pieces would have fit on a teaspoon with room left over. And, you guessed it: Salty. Seems to be theme with Mexican food in town: salty to the point of being inedible. Too bad, as we really wanted to like it and had such high hopes for a good Mexican place. I guess I have to make my own again. Minus the salt.
