Mel's Cafe - East Peoria

The comfort food here is quite pricey, but it feels like a taste of home. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. We had a wonderful time. I also had breakfast today, and it was really good!

Mel's embodies the charm of a small-town diner. We frequently stop by for breakfast. Most items on the menu are priced under $10, yet the portions are generous and prepared exactly to your liking. The waitstaff treats you like family. Be sure to try the skillfully made breakfast—half of the portion is often more than I can finish!

The food at Mel's is fantastic—it's home-cooked flavor that reminds you of your mom's cooking. The goulash, however, could use some work. The waitstaff are very friendly, and you can't beat the prices. Plus, the soda servings are enormous!

Great food! Great service! The waiters always go beyond the request. You also remember what you ordered and how you like your order. You should always be careful.
