Storm Shelter At Eastport - East Peoria

Love this place! We are always treated so well when we come here. Food is always hot and drinks are cold!

They were pretty busy when we visited so I'm thinking the promptness of service suffered a bit. Food was good, and it was hot when it arrived. We ate inside because of the mayflies (literally thousands of them outside! , and it was pretty cramped seating. Would go back when the mayflies were done hatching and sit outside. Overall good.

Was extremely disappointed. Asked if we could sit on the patio and was rudely told if there is a seat then yes. Waited for 20 minutes until a server came over. Ordered our drinks which included non alcoholic lemonade and water. Got the lemonade but had to repeatedly ask for the water. The lemonade was terrible. Put our order in for food which was a quesadilla and a sandwich with an appetizer. Was told it would be awhile because it was busy. We didn’t realize it would be an hour. Our appetizer and food was cold when we got it but sending it back was out of the question. After eating we waited again for our check. The $60 was not worth the service or food. We will NOT be going back and would NOT suggest dining there

Great place. Friendly service. We came by water from starved rock on the IL river. Parked at the piers. Calm water in there. We'll for sure be back!

Great deck views of the river. Very nice. Covered deck.
