Very good food and very friendly service. The staff here is great. Smashburgers. Steak Subs, salads and suffies are all excellent

Overall experience was a good one and we agreed that we might return to dinner another time. Some frustrations. Beginning with the noise and very high, high tables. It was a bit for our group, but when a table opened on the back of the restaurant, the host could no longer have been gracious to change us and the sound was no longer a problem. We had delivered four “hot meals” at a time and then almost 10 minutes later the Avocado Toast came by. Not sure why this happened as it was the easiest preparation, so that was a little frustrating, but runner seemed apologetic about the problem. The food was very delicious and well presented and an excellent value for quality/quantity of food on the plate. Our experience with the waitress was not great. We felt very much when we asked for water (Vs Wein/Cocktails, etc.), it was pretty much done with us at that time. She returned to take the order and that was it. I had to get up and ask for more water. The check was delivered without a dessert offer. Besides, when I got up to leave my record, sitting in front of me was not cleared. It will make it up to her with an outdated day and we had another delightful afternoon with friends who were most important.

Great service and friendly staff. The Mozzarella ducks and buttermilk chicken sandwich were fantastic.

I had booked a reservation, but as there were tables outside we decided to sit outdoors. The area was beautifully set! I hadn’t been in such a long time so this little addition in the back was a very nice surprise. Food as always was very good as were drinks! Though the ordering from phone is a nice modern touch it can be a bit tricky and if you have spotty service can be a pain to utilize. I think having the option of being able to order at the bar once sat at the table and have a server know the order is for outdoors would be a nice add or maybe have a card with Wi-Fi log in so that it’s not taking a while to process or have errors pop up on phone. Staff tho was very attentive in helping and ensuring the best experience to all sitting outside.

Don’t go! They need more help waited 1 hr to order food tasted horrible unable to cut burger with a knife ordered a specialty drink and was given a drink that tasted nothing like described this was my second time eating at the Black Duck Tavern and it was just as terrible as the first
