Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

This Corned Beef Reuben was mouthwatering delicious!! Honestly the best Reuben I've ever had. New York deli-style Corned Beef, melted Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut and Thousand Island Dressing on a grilled seeded Rye bread! Also had some white clam chowder, it was good, but a little too thick (and I am a lover of thick chowder) It seemed to be newly renovated inside so the ambiance was pretty good and the service was quick and efficient.

Usually we go to the waterfront location; however, we decided to try this location closer to home. Although the ambiance might not be as nice as the other location, but the food is just as amazing! We started with the white chowder, and it was good. Not great, but definitely good. The Reuben sandwich, however, was amazing! I will definitely order it again the next time! Our waitress was a bit flighty, but still pleasant and got the job done. So overall a good experience'

Another great meal with friends. Great food at a reasonable price. Best clam cakes and chowder around. Adrian gave us the hottest coffee. (Inside joke) . Best server in years. Wish Peter was here so I could of told him personally.

I've lived here for years and have seen this place in coupons and just driving by. I finally tried it the other day. I was surprised to see how big it was inside. The decor seem updated, not the highest quality, but it looks ok. Much older clientele, but I guess there's nothing wrong with that. Family vibe too. The food was just ok, but the price was decent, so I'd go back for a cheap night out. Our waitress didn't have any teeth, which was off putting.

My last visit to Chelo's was for lunch. I sat at the bar and Kim, the bartender and waitress came quickly to where I was asking if I wanted something to drink. She was very nice, friendly and efficient. I ended up getting the Norwegian Grilled Salmon with curly fries and green beans. The meal was nice, although the piece of salmon was on the small side. The curly fries were nice and crispy. The meal was good, but again, I was still kind of hungry after I was done. The service was good and I got double points on my Chelo's rewards since it was a Tuesday (double points on Mondays and Tuesdays). Plenty of parking.
